U.S. new jobless claims fell slightly last week

The number of new jobless claims in the United States continued to fall to 210,000 last week, a decrease of 8,000 from the previous value and higher than market expectations of 215,000. During the period, the number of continuous claims for unemployment benefits rose by 31,000 to 1.346 million, the first rebound in the past seven weeks, but it was still the lowest level in the past 52 years. The market originally expected 1.31 million. The data showed that the strong recovery trend of the US job market continued, and was not affected by the Fed's tightening of monetary policy.
